Re: Mystery leak (Long read)

There's hose connections in there??? That's so bad for maintenance. I would be very interested to check this myself. Where exactly did you push up on the liner? Where exactly did you drill the 1/4" hole? This is where I pushed: https://i.imgur.com/hpr8WvT.jpg This is the location of the 1/4 hole: h...

Mystery leak (Long read)

Greetings everyone. I’d like to share my latest find. Weather has finally turned decent here in Colorado, so we decided to de-winterize the boat and put her on the lake. We took her home from the local RV storage lot to clean her up and prep for the season. I opened up the companionway, to find abou...

Re: Vic's autopilot

Wow Harrison, Do you have a site/forum where you're sharing your idea's? All the best. Neo No. It's been more of a hobby project, AND, I haven't even put it on the boat yet. I've been working on it (not fulltime) for a couple of years now. I'm doing it in 2 phases. First phase is "autopiloting" a c...

I'm working on one now. I have hopes of completion this spring/summer.

Re: When the rust grows

Looks good. Now you won't have to worry about doing a Catigale (it broke on him on the road - there's a thread from a few years ago about it). You're lucky (I guess :? ) that it's the later, aluminium trailer. My OEM trailer is a '99, all steel, and the pole tongue is welded to the two side channel...

Potential engine fire!

We start out the season at the local lake for Memorial day weekend. We get a slip for 3 nights, and plan on a great weekend. I launch her Friday afternoon, and motor around the lake. She runs flawlessly! Purrs even at WOT. It’s going to be a great weekend! The next day (Saturday) we motor our way ou...

Re: Outboard rudder

Thanks again everyone for all the input and suggestions. :) I've always thought that the steering was WAY too loose. Thanks for confirming. Along those lines, does anyone have a primer, or exploded view, or any info on the steering system in the pedestal? Anyone ever rebuild the thing? I'm thinking ...
