Re: Mast Raising Alterations 26M

I can relate to the swaying mast problem when raising the mast. In my case, the problem is water skiers. When having a slip for two weeks on Huddle Bay in Lake George, NY, the wake from waterski boats causes havoc if u try to raise the mast. I now do it early in the morning, but the occasional water...

Re: Onboard shoes

I have been wearing Sperry Gold Cup for years. they are extra padded for comfort, and I have never had a slipping problem, in fact, I am surprised to read that anyone having a Sperry boat shoe with their zigzag sole would slip. Not cheap, so if that is your priority, these are not for you. I wear my...

Keep that thought Camilo.

You might just have some takers. All we need is an agreement on content.

Personaly, I have always liked calling our Macs Waterbago’s. A sail atop an image of a Winnebago makes me smile, but the tartan with the rope “M“ is fine with me.

Re: Sliding galley

What I should have added in my original post, is the dimensions I gave are the general dimensions. I guess I should not have assumed that you would be creative in what you build. You can be quite imaginative with the end result. I for one look forward to seeing the end product. Drawers, shelves, etc...

How fortunate that our weather has been extremely mild this week Kevin. I can loan you a kerosene heater. :)

Letter yes, puffin no!
I agree.

The Puffin is too far fetched. I just can’t connect to it.

Re: Sliding galley

Can anyone tell me the dimensions of the 2007 sliding galley ? The po did away with the galley and built cabinets along the port side making the interior very cramped. I want to make a new sliding galley. Also what type of waste hose for the sink drain. Thanks Here are dimensions on 2005 M Width 44...

Re: 'bout time for the ol' 3D printed Mac dream to be dredged up

Regarding a $25 to $250 scale model of a Mac, I, a nearly 15 year Mac owner, would not bother discerning between an accurate vs approximate scale ornament. Ditto! The difference being, that if I wanted one, I would just carve one, and paint it to look identical to Nice Aft. I still wish Dave luck w...

Re: 'bout time for the ol' 3D printed Mac dream to be dredged up

Now I understand. I was over thinking it. The marketing background in me has a question. What makes the potential end result unique. Couldn’t anyone with a similar printer create the same product once they had your completed boat? Interesting concept. You peaked my curiosity, I wish you luck. 8) Ray

Dave,

Not everyone knows why (me included) a 3D printed Mac is desired. Please explain.

Thanks,

Re: Macgregorsailors site

BOAT, It was Russ. He created the alternate site, all the while trying to get in touch with Heath to make him an offer. Kevin had been politely pressuring Heath to, how should I put it? $*!t or get off the pot. Russ has rejuvenated a dying site. I was in the background giving whatever business advic...
