Are all the factory ones thin? Is the 5mm one a BWY item only?
Hi Boat,
My 5 MM rudder posts were from the factory. Most likely changed to keep cost low.

If they're not bent keep on using until so.

For some reason the original posts on my 2004 :macm: had the 5mm posts I used them until badly rusted at the top of the tube. When I replaced them with the thinner ones, they bent. Really lucky it didn't break. I've seen my forestay with a strand or two broken. Installed the larger forestay from BWY this year. l try to replace all standing rigging every 4 or 5 years now. Thursday Now moored at Caja de Muerto, Ponce. Sailed a lot since Tuesday weather turned windy today sailed with a reefed main only. Monday. Arrived @ St John, Majo Bay Checked in using the CBP Roam app easy but the first time it took a while to setup. Thursday. Stayed the day on Anegada. went to Anegada Beach Club for the day. Friday. Sailed to Cooper Island 22 NM mostly 3.5 to 4 knots all the way except the last 7 NM it was 5 to 5.6 knots.
