Re: Anchor and Steaming Lights

Great idea - I love the Christmas lights. I might use some inside the cabin too. Thanks!

Re: Remove Bulkhead Compass

Thinking about it, I'm starting to lean towards using that fancy plexiglass stuff they use for windows (can't remember the name right now). This would give me a rear facing window, and a way to check if my daughter was sleeping if I didn't want to open the companionway. Anyone done this?

Re: Remove Bulkhead Compass

Do inspection ports flush-mount over the hole, or do I need to round out the hole for one of them to fit?

I suppose I could also get a piece of teak to cover the hole, which I could then more-easily screw stuff to.

Remove Bulkhead Compass

Hi there, I had a compass in my Mac25 which is busted. I refilled it and it just wobbles around, so it's not salvageable. I have another compass with a completely different mounting style, but I need to fill in the hole left by the old one. I suppose I could take the chance to learn fiberglassing an...

Re: Anchor and Steaming Lights

Thanks all - I love the idea of hanging a light lower-down, and will definitely do that.

Anchor and Steaming Lights

I'm hoping to anchor and camp on my Mac25 in a couple of weeks, but I want to make sure my mast lights (particularly the anchor light) are up to snuff. Currently I have two lights on the mast, both facing forwards towards the bow. One about 2 ft from the top of the mast that appears meant to shine e...

Re: LAKE MICHIGAN SAILBOAT SHOW

Darn - I wish I'd known about this sooner. I'd love to go - maybe next year.

My dad lives in Kenosha, which is probably where I'll store my boat this winter. Are you nearby?

Re: M25 Galley

Here's what it looks like. http://media.channelblade.com/boat_graphics/dealers/2582/digi44962309.jpg There's a hose going to the faucet pump, and another larger hose coming down from the sink drain. Neither is connected to anything. The whole "galley" is a movable piece that you can put on deck to m...

Re: Weird Electrical Connector

Thanks Sailboat Mike!

Do you know if the male connector will fit and screw onto the existing base (which is in great shape) or will I have to replace the whole thing?

Jer...

Weird Electrical Connector

On my new (used) boat, I've got this odd electrical connector that's used to connect the mast lights. The part that plugs into the deck fitting is in pretty bad shape, but the deck fitting is nice. I can't figure out how to find replacement connectors, either for the above-deck or below-deck portion...

M25 Galley

Hi there, I'm trying to figure out the best way to hook up the sink hose and sink drain on the little portable M25 galley. Ideally I'd like to be able to stow it under the cockpit like it seems to be meant for, but that makes it harder to figure out how to connect the hoses to something. Any ideas? ...

Re: Pockmarks

Thanks everyone. I'll believe you. I've never heard a story of a M25 sinking, so I'll assume I'm good from that perspective. Thanks!

Pockmarks

The hull of my "new to me" '86 M25 is full of pockmarks. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/FhXZ5pvff-Hur_j73Sc0Wu7KSXvGvuabqXTeEpOAJ46OmlpVmZCpn4SyBEegWbGu2-Och_mH1OadYbpjjFJE2qZrUJ0XQsq6PIfbmSgyi_aEbQPtvAB3BCP6RYQPNjqOBD7gT_Jbt3QLrZ2UtUke99NUZorwo15TmMALnlu39qAsLdoK6HAFGxGcxsmOPpHYnIit1tejOlEe7rrVN...
