MACGREGOR SEQ CHRISTMAS PARTY

Post by Ozphotog »

Hello to all Macgregor owners in SEQ.( or any owners who want to make the trip)
I am starting to organise a Christmas Party get together for SEQ owners this year.
Tenantive date is 5th December at lunchtime, probably at RQYS Manly.

Hoping for some sponsorship from BW Yachts, plus local suppliers as well as RQYS itself.
Early days yet but keep the date free.

Will be doing Secret Santa, cost limit $20.

Menu/costs etc to be confirmed.

Okay…..🤔…hmmmm
If I started at the beginning of November from Beaufort SC going through the Panama Canal over to Hawaii then hang a long tack to port to NZ followed by a starboard tack I should generally hit Australia after about 12-14,000 nautical miles and at a speed of around 6 knots should able to make it there in roughly 2-2,300 hrs of sailing time not counting any potty stops along the way… 🤔… I’d arrive there about the first part of February … a little too late to be fashionable … 8)

Don’t think the Admiral will let me out of the house that long 😕 on my own anyway … I’m generally in trouble when I’ve stopped by the hardware store on the way home ….. :D :D

I hope you guys and gals Down Under have a fantastic Christmas 🎄 party 🎊 🎈 🎉!

Best Regards,
Over Easy 😎😎🐩 🐈
