Which winch cover?
Which winch cover?
Does anybody know the size of the Lewmar winch drum on the Mac 26M (2005)? I am ordering covers, and they need to know if it's a 4X4 or a 5X5. My boat is not stored locally, or I would measure. Thanks in advance.

Re: Which winch cover?
I'm kind of partial to this wench cover:
OK, OK.
So actually, the winches on a 26M were spec'd as Lewmar 6A or equivelent, per the factory website (PDF here).
And here's the spec's on the Lewmar 6A:
Still like the other wench cover better, though.
(I was gonna make a crack about prefering mine to not be 'self-tailing', but I think I'd best leave that subject untouched...)

Thanks guys. 4X4 it is, unless I wish to upgrade to a 34/24/34.... tough call

too skinny...wouldnt help on the rail in any but the lightest breeze...
the factory shipped the Forespar Marelon POS line for a while, but the website now says Lewmars again...
