MacTrawler Avatar
Since many of us are converting our Macs to trawlers , we need our own avatar . I notice the Tattoos are up there .
How about it ???

Yeah , Simple enough , just an X or M sans mast . Perhaps a Mac with a small light/antenna tower in place of the mast .
We love our Mac , but its doubtful we will ever again run it with the mast on . For us , it is a fuel efficient trawler .

Re: MacTrawler Avatar
Where we at on an avatar for us Mac owners that are topless ?kmclemore wrote:OK, I'll consider it. Suggestions?
A suggestion would be a short midship light mast , a dodger and bimini .
The dodger would be just to have something above the deck .

Looks a little like the African Queen. When we're cruising the Erie Canal with bimini, dodger, and bridge (mast at home), I often feel like I'm driving the African Queen, so it's all good.

Personally, I think rake the stubby mast back a little and lose the dodger and awning.
But I could live with this design.

Perhaps with permission form Duane and from a picture of his 'conversion'

I couldn't find one for Ventures on here so I made my own as you may see to the right here.
Hope I don't owe someone royalties.

I like his light tower ! Very functional and good looking . An outline of His boat would make a nice avatar .WD wrote:Perhaps with permission form Duane and from a picture of his 'conversion'
