Off the boat and using our home built travel trailer

Post by ris » Mon May 14, 2018 7:47 am

We are on land for a while. We spent the last 6 months taking care of family and building a travel trailer. Here is the link http://www.tnttt.com/viewforum.php?f=42
When you get to the page go down until you see { ris 8.5 X 18 new trailer build 11/1/17} There are 7 pages of pics and info.
We actually thought about using the boat but finally decided to start with a 8.5 feet X 18 enclosed trailer. Someone else on this forum did the same thing a while back but cannot remember who it was. Our plan is to use the trailer this year and then get back on the boat next winter and do some more cruising.

Great job that you've done with that project!

Sumner, on this forum, has a homemade teardrop that I discovered years ago on tnttt. His is a metal frame and has a mechanically raised roof.
