Yer killing me here

, Yes technically I am it will be mounted on a hinged brkt above the anchor locker lid so that will give it even more drop zone for anchor rode

, the front hinge mount will be attached to my anchor retainer brkt which is already attached to the deck bow & hull with triple reinforcement =

, the rear cross T- section of the brkt will be attached too reinforced brkt's coming from the already mounted rear bowsprit hull mounting brkt's this will be installed under the anchor locker lid , but above the anchor locker well inside it

& already reinforced points @ the bowsprit aft mounting hull brkts will support this rear mounting brkt , . this set-up will let me unlock hinged
windlass/capstan lift anchor hatch lid open , relock
windlass in down poss. with just one 1/2" X 5" locking pin drop / retrieve anchor rode no need to be cutting anchor locker lid into two sections already drew up plans & modified them three times already

trying to make it cosmetically pleasing to the eye & the boats isometrics has to look like it belongs their

Hi Chris
This is gonna be a pita of a mod , only good thing for me is all the access points have been already installed so once my design is done & I have it made the mounting brkt's & have it ready to install the rest will be easy as all the re-inforced mounting brkts r already in place inside the deck & hull from when the 4ft bowsprit was installed , only the anchor locker T-section brkt mounting hrdw from Hull to Anchor locker will have to be measured & made once all the floation is removed again for access to measure & install I have already installed extra wiring in that area 4yrs ago for future mods so I will likely complete the installation of these to the top deck area for these mods so as I do not need to go back in there again for a while, re-installing the floation is like a jig-saw puzlle
Of coarse this is a two person installation

so thats another problem when u live alone
Once she is installed then theirs the wiring & battery issue
J
PS waiting on the battery I want to go on sale

well here's a mock-up mounting brkt I'm designing the top plate hinge will be cut in half two make two 1-1/4" wide hinges & mounted on the top plate & the base hinge will go in between them this will be mounted onto my already re-inforced anchor base holding brkt shown here it is about 9" high off the deck this will be reduced 4 or 5" this will allow for an 11-12" rode drop into the anchor locker
