John,

I am still looking for a 65 I can make a deal on...... but I think we need one on both coasts....
so keep your eye's open...

I was merely suggesting that I go down and pick up 'your' new 26M

I have retired 2 of my 3 tow vehicles this week...... the F-250's, and I am now going to tow with the new baby....a little f-150 supercrew..... it seems to ride nice with the boat., so I guess it can tow a macM

I'll be using my 96 Ford Ranger supercab for my towing

ohhhh drat.... I have to use up some personal leave, and it is sunny and windy, damn these short days..... later all.......

Cat,
If you're the guy that's been sending me those emails I want you to know that I forward all of them directly to the FBI. Only they're using crazy Arab names. So it can't be you. Or can it? Whoever it is that's sending them, be expecting a knock on the door soon.
Kind Regards,

I'm sure. I called the number. Got a machine. Left a message. No reply.
No doubt it was bogus.

BoatTrader Macgregor scam

Post by Luke »

I emailed to the "owner" a question about the boat. I knew it was a scam because they listed the boat as being located in Jewett Ohio, a small town not too far from my home. There is no boat dealer in Jewett. Below is the emailed response I got from the scammer.
Luke

Thank you for your interest in our boat: 2004 Macgregor 26 M Powersailer STILL FOR SALE
Price: $11,200.00
We've taken very good care of the boat (always garaged). It's never had any accidents, no scratches, no dents, it's got the original paintwork. For more information please visit our website at www.boat-shop.biz. You may ask for additional help from our live support team, thank you.

Best Regards,
John M.
