We will pull our :macm: with a little beefier Tahoe, called a Yukon. 5.7/4 wd. will never part with it 8) The Smokies down here have the crown vic, AND, if your good, really good, you can get one of their rather fast, MUSTANGS, now there is a hauler   Stew

Put me down as using a Jeep Cherokee 4.0 liter with Class 3 hitch and load leveler. No problems at all. I use 4WD at the ramp. However, I live at the flat coast and would not do a Appalachian Mountain trip with my rig. It is marginal for steep hills, IMHO.

Tried a Toyota Kluger (Highlander??) V6. Pulled the M26 ok, but sagged at the back a bit and pointed the headlights a bit high. Turned out the boat weight exceeded the car's legal tow weight (trailer needs an upgrade too). :( Now its a Toyota Landcruiser v8 diesel. Effortless :)

The Black Envoy looks better pulling the white hull!

2007 Toyota Highlander Hybrid

Handles the boat well and the power is more than sufficient. My only problem is with soft ramps. In gravel the Highlander is not heavy enough and the wheels just spin.

For the limited amount of towing I do it seemed to make sense as it was the least polluting and most fuel efficient vehicule I could find that met the 3500lb towing capacity required. :macm:

The Ad shows an Envoy towwing a MacGregor 26M what a plug!
The Ad could go one better and show the Envoy EXT with the extended 129" wheelbase Like I have on the Envoy 'twin' Chevy Traiblazer. That extra 16" of wheelbase really makes for a comfortable ride even without the boat in tow.
The Envoy/Trailblazer is a great all around tow vehicle and SUV combined, a really good product they put out. 8)

I have been considering this new pick-up from Chevrolet.
I figure it will give the F-150 a run for the money. Especially if I get it in blue.

I sort of hate to back it into the saltwater though.
