Stern Seats on the Mac 26x?

Post by tjinca1 »

Has anyone put stern seats in the back, on the rails, like this picture on link below? I assume they would need to be special for the Mac 26x?

No, but if it includes the stern seat navigator option as pictured on the website of the link you attached, put me down for a pair :o

Put me down for one . I think a pair would be to expensive to maintain.

The web site says "...custom designed for a perfect fit, yet easily removed if you need them off." I don't know what they are smoking, I had a hull of a time getting rid of the first one and the maintenance needed to keep off was just as painful. I am with you - a man has to know his limitations 8)

Well said.my first wife , (a U.S. citizen) stayed many years to long..and won't return to the USA for all the money in your health care system:D
:D
My current wife would never be on a stern seat commercial, but she is pleasant with me in the morning even if I snored all night so she's a keeper thats for sure!

Do you have a stern pulpit to mount them to?

I think the 26X pushpits need to be replaced with the seat frame.

This stern seat isn't available to fit the MAC, that's why I was wondering if anyone has bought one that does fit, or has modified theirs to make these on the MAC?

Wow - $950 each! They look nice, but that seems so expensive!

I think that price includes your choice of one of these navigators:

who'd want more weight even further aft on an X ??

I think a raised helm seat would be the most useful esecially at WOT.
