It scales off the drawing at 9' 10 1/4". That's accurate to about +/- 2". If I have a chance I'll measure it later and let you know exactly.

According to a pencilled note, my model 2000 boom is 11 feet. Sorry, cannot actually measure, it's too far from here.

According to Henry Wadler's website, the foot of a 26X mainsail should be 10' 5".

The tape measure says the aluminum extrusion part of the 2002 X boom laying in my living room is 10' 6.5" long.

Thanks very much. That's what I need to know. I am thinking about ordering the SailCaddy.

Moe,
Why is your boom in the livingroom? I like my boat in the driveway so I can go out and pet her once in a while, but ?

Dik,
What Moe did not say was besides the boom the rest of his Mac was in the living room also. He wanted to make sure that it did not get lonely at night. I have heard from the grapevine that pet boats are very good watchboats...
I could not resist that excerpt. Let's get back on track her Dolls and Guys.
Happy sails, Tony

I'd thought about stashing the boom in the pickup bed for overland camping, and realize it's too long for a shortbed.

Where do you 'campers' put the thing?

When "camping" at the FlyingJs coming home with the boat, we had it on the aft berth, on the port side of the ladder. It's in the living room now, because I'm working on/in the boat.
