White Plugs

Post by The Mutt »

Anyone know of an Aussie supplier of the white plugs used inside the cabin of the :macx: to hide the nuts that hold the deck hardware on.

You could try Synergy Yachts the Australian dealer which I must do too one day as I need a couple and some paint to blend them.

Thanks Boblee

I didn't realise Synergy Yachts did spare parts as well. I'll give him a call when we are working his area next.

Hi,
Blue Water Yachts in the US will post them to you. I think the URL is www.bwyachts.com They cost less than 50c each. They also have the fawn ones that match the interior lining of the M....Cheers, John

Thanks for that John.

I have to work out how many and what sizes I need before I buy any, I'm systematically going through our :macx: removing the plugs, undoing the bolts for the deck hardware, etc and resealing, there are a few very small but annoying leaks from some of the bolt holes so I thought I'd do the lot, only problem is that the plugs sometimes break.

I also have a small leak from the anchor locker drain tube, I am about to pull out the foam to install an electric winch to raise the mast and add an Anderson plug so the tow vehicle can charge the batteries while on a long trip, I'll reseal the tube while there.
