N7ZH--Not much use for D-Star out in these parts. I maintain the 146.800 repeater at Spout Springs: GE MASTR II analog. 300 Watts ERP from 5,500 Ft. Covers SE Washington, NE Oregon and SW Idaho. Draw a circle from Ellensburg, WA, through Hood River, OR and Caldwell, ID to get an idea of what a wide area, single channel repeater can do.

VA7VZZ, hope to talk with all of hams this weekend, good luck to all who will participate in contest. I am not sure which caalsign we will use, likely VE7GL, call us, every point counts.
I am ham only for contesting and actualy have no equipment on board (2 m handheld sometimes if I remember to bring it with me).

KD8FWS

I use two meters while chasing my glider-pilot friends.

My Icom IC-7000 goes to work when I am offshore.

Anyone using PSK31, Sailmail, or Winlink 2000?

KF4ZQJ - Mark in Jacksonville Fl, but not really active at this point, had an HF rig on my last boat and one for the :macm: is on the list but a ways down the list... 2meter rig in the car but mostly just listen to the local NOAA weather radio.

Mostly use 2M and 70CM for hot air balloon chasing.
I am a member of the Upper Rio FM Society. It is great ham club with a state wide repeater network. :macx:
