Serious Hull Damage!

bought my second Mac first is a 1990 26D classic the Second is 99 26X has serious hull damage working to restore the hull . damage is mostly on the sun deck up front and some a big chunk on the aft rail . any ideas or has anybody worked on Big holes in there fiber glass boat before soo far i have sandid about 8 inches (is 8 inches sufficent? or should i gooo FAR) past the whole/craks and reinforced with Ceder planks for suport will apply fiber glass soon the none slip decking is going to be tough found some molds at westmarine roll of it. i was also thinking maybe ill just leave the wholes for ventilation but then what would i doo about the rain . and then it hit me just collect it for drinking water. but im still on the trailer and prob wont venture any place far where i will have to collect rain water to stay alive. any tips would be apriciated ohh and no im not rich im selling the first will miss here sailing cheracteristics . (excuse my spelling i dont have a spell cheker installed yet. maybe if i only studyd when i was in elementary school wouldent be needing any syborg spell chekers installed lol )

Thanks Oscar. wow what a beutifull job he is doing unbelivabel. now Where can i get the PUMP and that whole none Skid proses is blowing me away if i could only keep some of this Blowing for Future Sailing id be Set. Thanks again oscar. it makes me feel better about what im doing thats for sure. and gave me some serious ideas to consider . ill try to post some pics i cant promis any as im a one track mind set once i start if i start taking pictures in the middel then thats it im done for the day lol
