Simple solution..........stay out on the water more days and nights , does wonders for carefree reading time :)
What I meant was that once you're into a sticky situation where you'd need to refer to to those manuals to see what to do, things are moving too fast for you to go below, dig it out, find the proper info and read it... by then your boat is argound, you've rammed the dock or you've already done some other horribly wrong thing!

Yep, been there, done that and probably will again  . Still isn't it fun to maybe read later what you should of done 8) and those tools sure come in handy fixing all the damage. When we ran the anchor rollers into the dock in Florida last fall I thought I had a big hammer to beat them back into shape, but couldn't find it so had to borrow one. Got one now and used it this past spring :( .

c ya and have fun,

I Guess Most Often.... It depends on where the boat is , relative to "home" ??
Most often my boat , sits in a slip at the Marina an Hour Plus.. from the house..
Most often I would stay at the Marina on the boat , 2 to 3 nights a week..Not convenient at all to have Manuals and books at home... I too, was down in Florida for 4 months and having those books in Illinois would have served no purpose.. So I too, have copies of all I want or need , "at Home" and "On The Boat..."
