Special Thanks To Everyone Here
I have to say, what a wonderful bunch of people here!!!!!
The advice is wonderful, the personalities are very pleasant, and even the moderators, you got to love em.
Thanks for making my first week of boating again, extremely painless and comfortable.
I have used countless ideas here to keep me out of hot water.
I know there are lots of forum boards on sailing, but this is a really perfect fit for a MacGregor sailor.

Re: Special Thanks To Everyone Here
Case in point, my "OFFICIAL" web page in our state on boating, Game & Parks, said No Personal Watercraft On Lakes At Night.
Until I came here, and someone told me Personal Watercraft was a Jet Ski, I was ready to sign up at We Are Change to get the bums in office thrown out. Now that you guys have cleared that up for me, I can forget politics (again) and just go sailing!!!!!!!!!!!
This site really is a great reference tool, as well as being a place with nice people willing to help.
I own a photography forum, and if the folks in my site were as hands with their hobby on as you people, I would be very pleased.

Re: Special Thanks To Everyone Here
I second the thought Gary.
I lurked on here for a whole and it really helped in buying the boat. My mods and general enjoyment are all the better and improving due to the support of the site and all the members on here. After all the advice and well over 1000 miles on the boat I have started, for better or worse, to be comfortable putting my 2 cents in

Dittos from my crew. I've learned bunches from these Mac owners and Moderators. Costly mishaps and dangers can be prevented with material learned from this Web-Site.robbarnes1965 wrote:I second the thought Gary.

Experience on the water is always important, but some good "sound" advice from folk having MacGregor facts is also a must. I've noticed, we Mac' folks enjoy our boats, and like sharing experiences and advice. It's always a great thing learning something "new" concerning our Macs, even if its a modification idea.
My 2 cents worth.

Wouldn't bother me if half the US was under water. I could sail over to your house. Probably a lot of shoals, tho. Thankful for that folding keel.

Re: Special Thanks To Everyone Here
Met a Coast Guard member who was stationed in Lincoln, Nebraska. I asked him how he guarded the coast from there. He replied, "Have you noticed any of it missing?" We actually have Coast Guard station in Nevada near Searchlight, I Spent a week there one night, It's a LORAN station. YOU can see the lights flashing on the towers from the hiway. Fair winds and full sails...Old Salt
