John you down until the 26th? That's good. I'm up in Georgian bay this weekend, will be there until at least the 22nd. If I'm back I'll definitely bring the boat down on Friday the 23rd. Hopefully others will still be around. This will be the first year i'm going to miss it

PS Was up in collingwood this past weekend. The town had just put new docks in. $20 a night but no showers, only portapotties

Stranded in Jordan Harbour for two days due to high winds and waves. Took a run for it during an afternoon lull which turned out to be pretty brief, but .......

Hey John going to the islands sounds great... Crikey I Have to drive down to port Credit today or tomorrow to pick up some battens from the marine store (I keep losing the #@*^& things ) before going up to Georgian Bay. I'll drop by the marina to say hello.

I'm here - abandoned for the day by wife, with daughter off in TO. helping a sister move house. Would welcome you(s) dropping by anytime. Ahhh Port Credit; so nice!
Good thing there's a chandlery here. I was trying to fit a lost genoa pin and I had disconnected the anchor safety tie down. On the way across the lake, going through some decent 3' rollers the anchor chain shackle pin somehow unwound, and I dropped the anchor into a couple of hundred feet of middle Lake Ontario! Tying up the bow, it was one of those stupid wtf* moments.
The accursed pin is lying in the hatch lip.... Hard lesson learned.

Weather is supposed to be nice, this weekend and next week. Not a lot of wind, but that's ok, especially for the admiral, though it'll probably be windier on the water, as it tends to be.
