I'm a new owner of a 2006 26M and could use some insight about learning to set up and sail her. Her name is Spice and I am overjoyed to become her new master. Some of you may have seen her on her Bahamas adventure with the previous owners. I have been around boats off and on for many years but never owned one myself until now. I live in Central Florida and keep her safely tucked away behind my house on her trailer for now. If there are other MacGregor owners/members in the area feel free to contact me. I would enjoy talking and could use advice on places to launch and sail in the area. She is already set up for extended cruising with solar panels, refrigerator/freezer, propane cook stove, 40 gal water bladders, 50HP Honda and rides on a double axle Sea Lion trailer, I have a few more things to upgrade over time as the "Admiral" requires but for now I need to get her on the water and learn the "art" of sailing her. Being a "newbie", I expect to start slow and small before jumping into the deep blue with her. I want to know what I am doing before we take extended trips. I would like to explore inland waterways like the St. Johns River, lakes and ICW among others... Your suggestions and comments are welcomed. wojack
