Niiiice! Makes me wish it was summer again. :D

Where'd you get the SS grab bar on the sliding hatch, by the way? The admiral wants me to add some similar bars on the hatch and companionway sides to make ingress/egress easier.

@Tom

Thanks, glad you liked the vids..

Main hatch grab bar was a gift from Highlander, he bought it from a marine store that has a room full of this and that.
Knowing him, he probably talked the guy down to 5 bucks.... :D

The side grab bars with the blue led came from Princess auto 30 bucks each

They are all very much appreciated by all that sail with me.. apparently I tend to like a lot of heel... :o

@ seahouse and Obelix.. Thanks! Glad you liked them

I was thinking he talked the guy into paying HIM $5 each. :D :wink:

WM has some bars for surprisingly little money, like $22 for a 24" SS bar with studs. To keep the admiral happy, I'll be adding some bars when the tarp comes off.

Thanks for the vids, John.

And Geoff - I shoulda' looked at your bowsprit when I was there last summer, but didn't think of it. Did you post any info on that mod on this site? I don't know if it's possible to do on an :macx: , but it looks like an interesting project. Given the extreme heel in the third vid, and the fact that the sprit didn't fold, I guess it's strong enough to last. :D :wink:

Hi Tom
I designed & made "frabricated" that 3ft telescoping bowsprit, installed on Beene Geoff's boat , its one of three I made for an :macm: I still have the 3rd one in my shop I'll post pic's of it for u later , It will fit an :macx: if u have the same bow roller. I also made a 4ft bowsprit for Gazman's :macx: although he has never posted pic's of it mounted to his boat I designed it to fit his bigger bow roller
Anyway finaly got all the vids of G & I sailing converted from asf to mp4 & r now up-loaded to photobucket for all to enjoy

You're right John it's been a long winter. Nice videos to watch especially during this snowstorm.
Geoff, I like your idea of using tilex on those strips. Although I think your cabin boy should have been scrubbing instead of filming :D
