I'm afraid you are getting all the rain that passed through here last month. We only had 4 days in May that it didn't rain. By the end of the month we couldn't even see the docks.

Local lake is finally up. Launched 10 days ago, plenty of room to move...
...but the winds have been around 3 KTS or less, for days and days and days, between spells of rain. Grrr
I guess there's always something

Wow!

We're having hot weather and drought conditions on the West Coast. All that sunshine is pushing crazy thermals and we're getting wind wind and more wind. I was going to boat across the Strait this weekend but they're calling for 20-30kts. I've crossed in the low 20's under power but I'm going to keep a very close eye on the weather before I decide

Went for a little sail with a friend Sunday afternoon. 12kts of wind when we raised sail and 3 drops of rain. Here's the link
https://youtu.be/bvZoAF9DISY

Normal for this time of year would be light airs maybe 5kts.

I hope the sun peeks out for July for you,

Willy

You don't have to remind me of the records this month. We've been on the Erie Canal for almost 3 weeks and didn't move for 15 days because the canal section between locks 23 and 25 were closed. Had to get a Canal corp boat to escort about 30 boats last Friday out of no mans zone going west.

What's going on with this world? Here in the Netherlands we recorded the hottest day in history yesterday, July 3. And next Saturday we may be up for another all time high. All this after a long and too cold spring.

Same story here outside of Washington DC. Almost every weekend has been a washout. And the ones that have been good have been consumed with yardwork and other 'required' duties ... ugh ...

The weather here has been near perfect every day for almost 8 years now except no rain. It's really strange - every day is sunny and mild and perfect, but no rain.

Let us know if we can help out. I think Lock 23 outs you around Brewerton....we are about 90-120 minutes away
