Don't give up and just keep trying to get ahold of them. Sometimes it's hard to reach them but once you do they are generally very helpful.

Use the telephone to reach BWY or any small business for that matter. Small guys don't have staffed call centers answering emails.

Toll-free order line on their web site: 1.800.688.8626
I've had plenty of luck calling them, but they take certain days off, so be persistent. They've also just moved, so presumably they're pretty busy just getting back up and running.

If you're looking for replacement, but not necessarily new, I've been told the older Macs, Ss, Ds, etc. have the same sail hardware as a X. Might be worth looking at. Some of those go for a song.

I talk to Ezra in the parts department at BWY. He knows what parts they have on hand and what can be made based on factory specs. This is THE resource for those of us trying to restore a Mac.

Time for an update! The rig I would repair belongs to my father. Shortly after he bought the boat, the wire to the genoa broke so the rig went into the sea.
Got contact with Ezra. I'll tell you, excellent service, and considering that I am a person who NEVER have sailed one meter and who have zero knowledge about sailboats, we solved this very fine thanks to his assistance. Now the boat ready for sea again, and my father is a happy man.
A big thanks to Ezra Blake at Bluewater Yacht, highly recommended!
