We're planning to watch the Falcon 9 launch from Patrick AFB at Cape Canaveral this week (http://www.patrick.af.mil/)...anyone in the area interested in linking up on the water?
We're planning to splash in Port Canaveral and I have the storage site for rigs, the bridge schedule, the lock schedule and the anchorage site to watch the launch. I know the weather here has been crazy this last week or so, but supposedly the launch will happen (http://www.mynews13.com/content/news/cf ... ecast.html)?
Obviously, space launches are highly weather dependent...thus the last minute deployment/notification...and Florida weather is predictably...unpredictable...yet predictable this time of year (thunderstorms...entering hurricane season)...hurricane party in lieu of launch is backup plan!
