would explain why nobody was seen on the marina cams boarding these boats who know,s maybe he was cloaked in a black cape !!

In the end, I've installed it the "easy" way, avoiding pushing the AC to the galley. I'll simply connect my DC charger to the AC plug when I need to charge, and will be good enough.
Looks like a nice installation. But don't give up on snaking a circuit to the galley, if that's what you really want. Mine has some DC wiring and a coax cable snaked through the port side to the stern, and them not being OEM, that means it is do-able. Something to monkey with when you have nothing better to do.
But I gotta ask - that receptacle is unusual, except for Brazil (IEC 60906), which is not in Europe. Perhaps Switzerland, with the similar-but-different configuration SEV1011 10A?
