you have got to be kidding me

Just took a look at the Macgregor site for fun.

The line about a tube in the M's mast for running wires is still there http://www.macgregor26.com/comparison_26x_and_26m.htm

"A small tube will be cast into the mast flotation foam to allow the future passage of wires to the top of the mast."

Last I heard, there still is no tube in the mast. It has been, what, over 2 years now...Got to love Macgregor!

Apparently there is some sort of communication breakdown between the marketing department and the manufacturing department. But you'd think, BY NOW, word would have filtered through. :o

I wonder If I should contact the factory and ask them how I should sent my mast back, since it doesn't have the tube?

That thought would likey get something changed. But, it would almost certainly be the claim on the website...

facts vs marketing

I think everybody should know the old "Salesmenrule":
something ,that's written in a marketing-paper will PROBABLLY happen - at a later version-
something, you find not in this advertizing paper, will NEVER happen - whatever you're told
