Genoa - repair/replace
Looking at fixing/replacing our uv damaged genoa on 26M. It's had a quick repair done, however we are thinking of selling & want it looking good. Wondering what is best option & where to go. Would having a uv strip sewn on remedy this. We are SE Qld.

Re: Genoa - repair/replace
About 2 years ago I had these guys make me a Gyb for my and was very happy with both the price and fitment, having used it for a couple of years now I can say that it performs very well and furls nicely. Give them a call, they were pretty good to deal with too.

Not sure if its a furling genoa, but yes get a UV stripe put on it if its a furler, if not you can get a layer of sail material sewn on the damaged side.
My new jib has UV material that is more like sail cloth than sunbrella.
