I used it for years on the small lake that I live on until I became a MacGregor dealer. So, I cut the front deck off and used it as a desk in my office. I also had a lot of nautical memorabilia, such as the water buffalo horns that I shipped from Nam, etc.
Bill, I think we need a photo of this. Sounds interesting.

Hi BOAT ~ Do you want a picture of new or used ba ba / 33 / ba muoi ba beer. The pictures would look pretty much the same. The taste pretty much the same also.
The only picture that I have of that desk, is with me sitting behind it. It is pretty much covered: 3 bottles of whiskey (Famous Grouse, Kessler, and one other that I can't read the label, I would tell customers that they could use whiskey for ballast and I would occasionally get a bottle), my cat Snappy that followed me around like a dog, a thermos with coffee, tools, paperwork, and other assorted and sundry debris. Overhead is a windsurfer board that goes from one side of my office to the other. They make great shelves as they are so rigid. I currently have my carved coconut head collection up there. I think that they should appreciate in value as much as Hummel's or Beanie Babies. Behind that is the hole where the raccoon fell thru the ceiling. And then on the wall are my water buffalo horns. Below that is my motorcycle helmet with the raccoon skin on it. If you lifted up the tail, you could see where the red APPROVED sticker is.
I always intended to rebuild that desk. I got a used table tennis table as the top is two pieces of 5' x 4-1/2' of plywood, so I could do the top with one piece of plywood. I got mahogany to deck it with. A nice brass red/green bow light. But right now, it's down in the basement of my TEMPORARY WORLD HEADQUARTERS, on the back burner (maybe I shouldn't say "burner").

Thanks for that lovely description Bill. Very entertaining! Sounds like you had quite the interesting vibe in that office.

And if I get a vote, only post photographs of unused beer... please! :D

Hi Timmyt ~ If we keep doing this back and forth for awhile you'll be an admiral. I'm pretty sure that I was an admiral for awhile but I maybe said something to someone that was not in my chain of command.

I think I know you.

At any time in the past 50 years did you go by the name: "Baja Bill"?

Naw, it can't be you - that guy was a LOT older than you could be. We met this guy in Bahia De Los Angeles in 71 - in the 40's he was a famous jazz guitarist (whom I never heard of) but my parents said he was very famous in the day and they could not believe he was playing guitar in a restaurant, (I think the place was called Guillermo or something like that). That night my parents and their other boat friends stayed up most the night playing piano and singing songs with this man, they all had a real good time. His office behind the bar was full of all kinds of stuff but I don't remember a cat picture so I guess snappy was not there. It can't be you.

Hi BOAT ~ No, I never went by the name "Baja Bill". But that would have been one of the nicer names that I've been called. For awhile in Mexico, I was called "El Burro" (long story). I'm only 76-1/2, going on 16.

That is absolutely the correct progression.
