BWY Mast Track Gate Cover

I read somewhere that the "BWY Mast Track Gate Cover" could work for an older 26M before 2007.
By pounding the spread shut, Well I can't find that write up anywhere. I thought it was somewhere on the BWY site.
Maybe I read it here but can't find the post........

Besides new gas tanks, I really want a lines led aft kit which is useless if the slugs fall out. So I'm thinking the mast track and some pounding and peening could work.

Now for my question has anybody pounded the spread closed and used a track cover from BWY.

BWY sometimes answers questions like these or used to.

Looking for input, always a challenge now these boats are getting a little older and out of production.

Maybe I'm misinterpreting what you are after but I cant imagine why you would go to that much trouble when you can just buy one of these, I have been using these for years and they are perfect.
