This community is a big reason why I bought my :macx: . Seeing all the mods and having all the help. I knew these were my people!

I see a 2010 :macm: for sale right now in NY. Not sure if that's "metro NY" though:

Thanks I will check it out , seems 26s are few and far between in the Northeast US.

We have a member that needs to give his boat to someone, and a member looking, I wonder if there is some way to get them together.
Issue = his boat is in the water and he no longer owns a trailer.
My trailer for my X is sitting empty in my driveway, new tires and such, but I am in Texas.
A bit of a haul for me.
Boat is a 26D

On edit, I looked at where the boat is, and where this threads author wants to sail, it looks like they only need a Captain and the time to sail it.

I did see the 26d that is looking for a home, and by see I mean saw it on these pages. Would a 26d work as well as a 26S, not sure , one chimed in here about his 26D so I will reach out to the owner , the main issue is as you said I have no trailer nor does he, anyone want to take a lovely road trip to MD and back to NJ? Perhaps I can "park it somewhere in MD until I figure it out ?

I was wondering about you getting a slip and just sailing it over.
Free, if you do not like it, you have some experience now.

That is a bridge to far for me, I have never sailed a boat and that seems like a Madian voyage that would be to much for me, getting a slip is not really an issue but taking a free boot I have never been on a long way is asking for karma to come by.

My thoughts were that someone on the forum might be willing to take a day, or, even have the current owner give instructions while you do.

Of course I have never been out of my inland lakes, so do not have any salt-water experience and really do not know what it would take.

Update, I have not heard from the "seller" so I assume he found a taker for his 26D, hope it found a good home.
