So it's decided then? The next MacGregorsailor's flotilla meet up will be here on Lake Powell? 8)

They obviously saved the best for last: the St Johns River. Between Jacksonville and Sanford you have 140 miles of wonderful sailing. Well maybe 70 miles of "wonderful" and another 70 of "challenging" but it's still fun!

We have twice done the Chesapeake. The first time 13 days, the second, 17 days crisscrossing it.

We will do it again. The Chesapeake is a sailors heaven.

Hi All!

One place that we throughly enjoy is Lake Champlain!
It’s huge!

We’ve spent two trips there, one for 70 nights and the second for only two weeks, but really only scratched the surface of this stunningly beautiful lake! We home ported on the Vermont side in Mallett’s Bay which provided us with a great central location and access to shore facilities like groceries and restaurants.

The other is here in our Beaufort area of South Carolina with lots of open water and an extensive estuary network to explore as well as the ICW going North and South.
