So it seems that the video is a bit overblown as there isn’t ANY validated corroborating information about this ‘sudden’ 41% drop in volume in 72 hours. Yes there is/has been an ongoing drought that is affecting the Midwest but not near a 41% volume drop.
Seems that the bigger concern would be looking into the depletion of the aquifers along the Mississippi and the ground water being wasted on the new AI data centers that are springing up. It would probably be best if there was a collective cork put in the AI data centers given how little actual value they offer. (Do we really need AI to tell us that flatulence is natural methane?…
)
