When we got the Mac this time last year, we said we'd keep both boats a year and choose to keep only one at the end of the season. It's that time. As much as we've enjoyed sailing and camping on the Mac, and as much as we've put into it, we just haven't had the time to use it, and we don't see that changing for a number of years yet (I'm not near retirement). The Whaler just suits our current lifestyle's time for boating better, and when it came down to brass tacks, I couldn't give it up.
So the Whaler stays and the Mac goes. We'll be cleaning it up and advertising it soon.
It's been a great year here, and I've enjoyed the camaraderie and fellowship. Thanks to all who've helped us along the way and thanks to Heath for this awesome resource.

Oh, and my offer still stands - if you're ever in the Phila area, you and the little admiral have always got a place to stay. (Just remember to bring your electrical test meters with you

(Probably when roger or some other keen farsighted entreprenuer figures out how to make a profit while manufacturing a swing CB 34 footer with 9 ft. of beam....)
As a poor multiple boat owner myself tho..... I wonder, are you sure......She can't stay parked next to the airstream and behind the Harleys until spring????, Can't use all the toys you have at once anyway........hehehehe

That sounded more like a goodbye than an announcement...does that mean you're leaving us? I sure hope not. You've been a tremendous resource for me and many other new (and old) Mac Owners. Although I must admit, some of your posts are so detailed that my eyes glaze over and I can't follow most of the technical stuff 
but you're always there with the answer and I want to thank you for making my first year as a sailor more enjoyable.
Even without a Mac, you probably know more about them than most of us ever will so I hope you'll continue to drop in and share with us.

Who will give me Garmin 178C advice? When you get out to Ca, I'll make some time and we can all go out sailing. You will have to go sailing on our M, but I'm sure you can take it, for a day at least...

Wow! I'll miss seeing your posts as well. I've definitely learned a lot from them. Thanks for your involvement this last year -- please know it has helped a lot of un non-26ers' too!

Wow, what shock! So sorry to hear you're parting with your Mac. I too have enjoyed your posts and appreciate all the great advice you've contributed. Hard to believe. When I go out sailing, I mention to the Admiral and friends who come along the different things I'm experimenting that I learned from Moe. I'll miss you, but as others have said, I feel you'll be back. Seriously, Moe... The Whaler over the Mac???? Maybe you need to think this through a bit longer.
