I cound't rest until ,I found the Candy Company...OverSeas.
Trick was a refelection in one of the JPeg Pictures.. on the transom.
"Wing Keel".. Thus did a search, for "Wing Keel A25"

Thus have a (Sweet Candy X-Mas Holiday)

Shows a single and a double axle trailer. Wonder what these things weigh? Got to be lighter than the Mac.

Is that a little kicker on the back? I really like the tiller, they're much easier to maneuver with.

Also wonder how the centerboard works.

Edit: Most of this is answered in Me Mine's link just above. I like the reference to mass produced white barrels. I always thought of the Mac as a 'bottle'. If the thing sells cheap enough, they may set up a factory in CA.

Sailing is only one of the many things that a Mac 26M can do. What about the cabin and motor. Well, It just not the same apple.

So they claim the boat weights about 3100lbs. and almost 900 of that is in the keel??

Nice boat. But at around $80,000 not such a good deal. The interior looks very well done though.

Hmmmm - check out those rudders!
They don't swing (like a 26X centerboard), they slide up & down like a daggerboard!

It looks like the rudders do indeed slide up and down, but maybe there is a break away or pop-off latch at the bottom aft part of the bracket. Looks like a little black spot there in the photo.
