I saw this at the boat show in Newport. It did catch my eye..had my mind wandering for installation options
too bad it wasn't 12 volts or it would be great..
Just tired of how dirty the boat gets inside.. I feel my 2 gallon wet/dry vac has a permanent home in the boat sometimes.. Would be pretty cool to just hook up a hose and vac on demand. But it is pretty expensive...I guess I could rig some way of using my existing wet/dry vac (I even have an older 1hp 1 gallon)w/d vac I could mount..with a hidden hose to a connector and just buy a hose and head..and make my own...Kinda like making a dust collector system like in a wood workshop
No I am not trying to put as much crap on the boat to see if it still floats..LOL

We have a 1 gal plastic shop vac that does reside on the boat. Works well enough and is great for keeping the bilge bone dry!!
I have a 1 gallon shopvac I use onboard..just tired of the think falling over and stuff.. being able to just hook it up would be cool..and should be quieter! But being able to pick up water too is great.
Our little 110v Dirt Devil, about 1 quart capacity does the job for us. Easy to store in a half gallon space, wieghs only a pound and it's small enough to run it off the inverter if necessary. Long cord, four foot hose gets everywhere on the boat.
where do they vent it to? Turbo brushes IMHO dont work well and we have a couple high end spelled high cost ones that came with the unit we have in the house. I can see where the appeal might be in / on a Yacht same as it is here in our 3 story Vicky, but water doesn't come in the vent at the house. Think I'll get one of those hang on the wall shop-vac's and a longer hose / sump-pump hose and see how that works ???
Our "teenzey weenzey" 12 V portable unit with that long ole cord works great...and its easy to manuever over to one of the vehicles if necessary, or where ever...
My local "Crack Home Depot" doesn't seem to carry a 12volt one gallon. Has anyone ever seen one of these at Sear's? I've also heard some models can be used as inflator/deflator for inflatable boats which would be very handy.
