Re: Southport Sail
My shore power cable end is a male 125v 30a. ( I do have a standard 125v 30a female to standard 15a 125 house male adapter already)
I want to make sure I'm looking at this right.
I'll need a pigtail with a female 125v 30a for my cord to plug into and the male end of the pigtail will be 125/250v 50a? I want to make sure before I buy the wrong thing. The Admiral isn't going to enjoy the price of these things!
But she'll love shore power and movie night at the marina!!!!

Re: Southport Sail
Only 50A available seems to be weird, just looked at the Southport Marina website and they state 30A/50A/100A for transient slips, so normal 30A twistlock should fit.

Re: Southport Sail
Yes, as you get into town you will make a left on W. West street. the ramp will be a few blocks down on the left just before you get to Southport Marina parking lot. I have enquired and the marina said that they want $10 per night for vehicle storage in there parking lot. I have made arrangements for free vehicle parking for the weekend across the street at the mast up storage. We will have to park a certain way but I or the gentleman at the storage will be around to show you where and how to park. If you need to find one of us just park in the spaces at the ramp and come find one of us.wbpenney wrote:Are there directions, launching place, overnight parking ....etc?

You are going to beat us there, just look for the gentleman at the mast up storage across the street and let him know you are with Ron Brown's group and he will take care of you. I will be there Friday morning if you have any problems. If you cannot find him for some reason just park your vehicle in one of the spots at the ramp and we can then take care of it Friday morning. I have left my vehicle there for a whole weekend and no one has said a word to me so one night should not be a problem. However if you park in the marina parking lot next door they may say something.
