), as Sea Dreamer said we'll be there in either case. I'll leave it to better minds than ours to decide on which will work out best. Both offer some great sailing.
A couple of points though on both, Sandy Point means rt 50E, with beach traffic on a Saturday morning, be prepaired for traffic starting Friday afternoon

, but once you get through the launching seems to be pretty good and direct access to the Bay.
In the Rhode River area there area some great sheltered coves and beaches, sailing out to the bay in the Rhode and West Rivers. Luanching is not as good. At Casa Rio $15 for launch but parking can be a tight, some waiting as there is only the one ramp.
There are other marinias around that may offer better parking. I know up the South River at the rt 2 bridge there is plenty of parking and 5 miles down to the Bay, on the way you'll pass London Town, a colonial era tavern, that is nice to tour.
