I have "Travelers" insurance. First two years i paid $398 a year. My third year premium went down to $298. I was happily surprised. I live in Seattle.

I have full coverage boat/trailer and contents on my 98 :macx: from Progressive for $37.00 a month. I get a slight break as I have a motorhome insured with them also. You should be able to find a decent policy at a reasonable price as long as you are not high risk. 8) Rob

Welcome Aboard.

For the past two years I had Progressive...about $350 per year. Just switched to BoatUS Insurance...a little less expensive at $325 per year AND the coverages are much better/higher and deductibles are much lower.

Cheers,
Jim

Awesome, it isn't much to insure these boats. Well, I am waiting to hear back from the seller of one :macm: and will definately hit the dealer this weekend. Thanks for all your help, I think a :macm: is what I am looking for. Timmay

We pay about $300 with BoatUS for $36,000 coverage with reasonable deductibles. I believe they rate you based on where you keep your boat and your boating education.

Some homeowners policies will cover a boat under 26' (which the Mac is at 25' 10"). However, I wouldn't trust them. I want a company that knows boats and will cover me if I need it.
