The other item that should be mentioned is that you can not lower the main completely with out removing the upper most batten. Some, such as Matt do not insert the top most slug into the mast. I remove the batten when I am going to wrap the sail cover on the main. This is a pain, but I am bothered by the sail not being able to be attached with a slug all the way at the very top. This problem should be the worst thing that ever happens to us. I regularly sail alone, and I am pleased with the sails. Their acquisition just meant that I learned a little more about boat handling.

OK, there is a very simple solution to this, You simply remove the little SS slug pin at the top most batten and replace it with a new 'D' ring that you can screw onto the slug clip. When you drop the sail you simply undo the little 'D' ring and let the batten lay down and put your sail cover over it. Works for me just fine, all I need to do now is buy a couple of spares because I know it is only a matter of
when I drop that little sucker and it falls down the daggerboard trunk. It is a bit trying reconnecting the tiny little 'D' ring each time to the slug but at least I can drop the batten down flat.
I should also mention that I too really like the MuscleHead sail, it is way cool and does add extra oomph when a gust comes up.
