Agree. Also, another good paint is Hammerite... comes in more colours than POR-15 and really works well at keeping the rust-bunnies at bay. Plus, it leaves a really nice hammer-tone finish - you may recall this paint being used on all sorts of tools & equipment made back in the 50's and 60's - and the finish is virtually bulletproof.

(Edit: Sorry, I linked the UK site... it's also available in the US through Eastwood, but they only supply the spray cans. I can't seem to find a US supplier for the brushable Hammerite - I have several cans I brought back from the UK so I guess I'm going to have to be very thrifty with the little I have left from now on!)

I just drilled mine out. Yeaach! Got the black yeachy water all over the drill and myself. Maybe the lid would have helped. didn't use one.
