Have you ever noticed how food cooked on a boat taste so much better in Salt Air?
YUMMY, just the way it is! Salt water Sailors eat much more and taste the food much more than Fresh Water Sailers!
Now thats almost the diffrence between White and Blue Hulls!

A fun voyage out of Watch Hill, Fire Island. Great South Bay NY.
20JUNE2010, Fathers Day
0900: Underway, making way. Visibility @ 300 yds.
Rigged for Reduced Visibilty: Energized Running Lights-Sounding one prolonged blast every two minutes (Thank goodness for the Standard Horizon GX3000 w/integrated Fog Horn Signals, note the Standard Horizon PA at the Mast base)
Note the look of concern about my channel position. Or better yet: Where the f@%&! am I???

Actually turned out great, other than wallowing in following seas at one point!
LAIKA alway's brings her crew home safely........
Looking forward to next years Radar Mod!

Heading for home at sundown - Bohemia River, Maryland.
A favorite photo of mine from season 1 (when we were trailer sailors).

Here are a few more. We were able to tack the entire length of the St Johns, from the Ortega River Shoal beacon to Old Bull Bay. I only started the motor to get under the bridge. It was awesome
