his thread is about putting a traveller on a X. I thought M's had traveller's as std. equip. I won't go into how M's beat X's, they certainly should, taller mast more sq. ft of sail, that said how come they have such a difficult time doing it?

On high wind days I cleat a second 4:1 main sheet block to the genny track, I call it my triangle traveller--on light wind days I use just the pedestal.

Hi

In my :macx: I am testing a traveler for some time.

The main advantage in really to clear the cockpit...

And remove the lines from the instruments and rudder wheel area.

The only problem is that effort on the boom increases as the bloc goes nearer the mast...
