flyboy26m, what is the standing room under the soft topper ? I notice it has velcro ready for attaching side panels, I was thinking of making my own sides from an old caravan awning, so thus might be a goos starting point !

Sorry, I don't know. I know I can sit under it at the wheel and have about an inch or two. I am six feet tall. I would measure for you but I just put the winter tarp on.
I too am going to make my own sides out of the boat cover material I purchased and some plastic screening that comes in roles.

i have the softopper also, just clears the boom by an inch or two, was initially wondering if i would be bothered by the height restriction but it is now not an issue at all.
