Wha-da-ya-know, it's still available, and still less than $30.

Not sure if that one will do the 5/32 ferrules for the shrouds (notice I didn't bring the forestay into the discussion 8) ). It has an 18 inch handle. The Tie Down I got has 26 inch handles and the leverage seems to be needed, but I'm getting old. I got ours in the $50 range, but it looks like now they are in the $70's. It is a very nice tool. Fast and easy to use and has a go-no-go gauge with it. If you have to spend that much you might not be ahead much price wise vs. buying rigging from someone like riggingonly.com but you will always have the tool which I always like myself.

I made up new rigging except the the forestay that had to be rotary swaged and that info...

...and I'd still buy the same tool if I had to do the job,

At $42 thats the least expencive Swag tool that does 1/8 and 5/32 wire that we have on our boats, Uppers are 5/32nd.
All the other hand crimp tools skip the 5/32nd and you need a $80 crimper to include the 5/32.

As little as I use it now, I will likely just stick with my old, slow, but very reliable one. It has both 1/8 and 5/32 (does larger too, but forget what size..... maybe up to 5/16?). I find if you clamp it up in a vise, it's a little easier to use. Then you don't have to hold it and it's easier to wrench down those two bolts.
