Re: Is there another Macgregor site?
Two years after not owning my mac, I am stil reading this site for tips i can bring on my other boats.
I think that pretty speaks of utility and a comfortable exchange of information on this site. Even when I disagree.
Thanks Kevin !

It's not just me... I share the work with several other (and much wiser!) moderators here.waternwaves wrote:Two years after not owning my mac, I am stil reading this site for tips i can bring on my other boats.

Here is another resource that is handy from that sailboatowners.com site.Dry Tortugas 2013 wrote:http://forums.macgregor.sailboatowners. ... y.php?f=68
Seems to be the easiest link.
Any sites specific to destinations in North America?

If you want bare bones to the point no f..... in round check this site!

You may have to turn any parental controls off on your computer. I find the witty banter is most refreshing.
Have fun!

Re: Is there another Macgregor site?
Cool, this is the most recent topic. And a great place to thank Kevin and Heath for tweaking my name. Not only was it tweaked, it took about an hour! There is no way any other website would have done this, or even replied back to say "too bad."
Let me state the obvious, this site has no equal. If the entire internet was like this site, the world probably wouldn't be floating around in the collection tank

You only joined this forum on January 30th, 2013, and now you want folks to leave this forum and join the other one because you personally have a grievance. Further, I can't help but think you might also be trying to bait me, as the moderator, to kill your postings so you can say we censored you. Well, I'm not taking the bait.
Yes, this forum is moderated more closely to prevent folks from attacking one another. And yes, we also moderate to prevent it turning into nothing more than a place folks can post advertisements and spam. But the folks who are here chose to be here, in many cases, because we do run a 'friendly' forum, where the main goals are to help each other and to become friends. If you wish to join us, we'd welcome you. If not, we understand. But I will respectfully request that you please wind down this effort to encourage folks to leave... it's really not appropriate, particularly for someone who has only been here for 3 days...

Hmm,this site is kind of like my family. I never have to look far for advice, sometime people get upset, sometimes people get a little self-righteous. But if I stay away too long, I start to miss it.

I'm sure there's a 12-step programme for that.Johnacuda wrote:But if I stay away too long, I start to miss it.

step 3 Step the mast.
