Trying to get the BF50 on Plane is like passing gas to your loved one.
As far as getting 1000 lb crew members in cockpit is just fine under 6 knots.
Hope They have a Headwind !

General Aviation manufacturers use the FAA standard passenger weight of 170 lbs in their specs. I would assume that boat manufacturers use something like that as a guideline. In the case of an extra heavy adult, it would make sense to distribute the weight evenly.

hahaha.... we did have a headwind and fortunately a 90hp. It managed to get us up around 20mph .... I did make sure and treat her to some seafoam after
