1.) Do the stores have gas and supplies? Lots of services around the lake
2.) Can you stay over night at a marina in Bug Bay or anchor it somewhere or beach it maybe?
No overnight marina in Bughouse Bay that I know of but anchoring is OK. There is a pub right on the water at the village of Seymour arm. Lots of private land around so you need to be aware of where you are and respect landowners. No beaching zones are described mile by mile in the guide mentioned above. They publish a new version every year primarily geared toward the houseboats but still a good resource. You can over night at marinas in Sicamous and Salmon Arm etc.
3.) Where did you get that nautical chart from? Canadian chart #3053. I also have GPS Nautical Charts http://www.gpsnauticalcharts.com/main/
It can run on Android, iOS or Blackberry. Thats where I grabbed the screenshot from
Dog (Yogi) is my daughter and her husbands. He's rescue dog so not sure of breed. He has some chow in him. They were just on a day sail but he did OK for being a bit of a nut job!

Look up Blind bay resort, we had a dock slip there for a week, was great we only paid for the dock slip but still had access to the resort facilities, showers, pool, recreation room etc. they have a small beach, they didn't have a launch but there is a couple near by one was free the other is a part of a marina and resturant, not bad food aswell. there is lots of amenities in the area, Copper island and a provincial park is across the lake, people at the resort guest and owners were super helpful and great to meet.

Thanx for all the great information you guys. As you indicate this stuff I google it and find the web site and book mark it so I can plan the trip all out. If you remember of anything else cool or fun that you saw or did or went than please let me know and I'll check it out. Do you think a week on the lake is long enough? And during that week we'd probably get out for a couple days and get a cabin or hotel. Anything to keep my Admiral happy and having a good time

Well finally in approx 3 weeks this trip will finally happen. Does anyone have any current information about the Shuswaps that you want to share? Has anyone gone there this summer? I have already been up in Northern Saskatchewan fishing and sailing with my 26X for a month or so on two separate trips and everything went well. My last trip of this year will be this Shuswap trip so I am hoping that it will go great. I have to figure out where to launch from and where to leave my vehicle so that someone will watch over it. If anyone has any information as to where to launch and store the truck then please share:)
