Tiny pic would not load my pic so if you pm me your email then I can try and send it that way. Note that the pic does not show the extra cans lashed to the boards but you can see where I attached them with U-bolts.

I’d be purchasing a solar panel rather than completely relying on your motor to charge your batteries, especially with a 300nm leg with no services. You’ll be completely reliant on the weather for that leg with little room for error.
Agreed. A solar panel will be cheap if you compare the gas savings. Use the extra storage space for drinking water.

I was completing a boating course online yesterday, and the topic of "waste disposal" was covered. It occurred to me that one other logistic issue for longer voyages might include that topic. I have a 13 gallon holding tank in Mac 26X, but I know some folks use porta potties with much smaller holding tanks. Yes, I know the whole ocean is out there, but...just a thought. The USA and it's various states now have some pretty tight rules about how we deal with waste disposal. Again, just a thought!

the voyage ETD beginning of March. For feb, i will prepare the boat, repaint the bottom, fix some unknown issues. then waiting for the weather window. Usually the wind is more mild during March.
