Other than at airport, you can't get that where I am in upstate NY
I'm pretty close, and just noticed that Stewarts Shops are now selling Ethanol Free Premium 91 octane at most stores.
I'll check that out John. Is that summer only by chance?
This is what they list on their site for ethanol-free locations in Albany County.

Guilderland – 2446 Western Ave
West Cohoes - 480 Columbia Street
Albany - 875 New Scotland Ave (Whitehall Rd)
Feura Bush - 1360 Indian Fields Rd
Latham – 1218 Troy-Schenectady Rd

Great list.
Now could you supply a list of places to get
ethanol-free for Carson City, Reno, and Dayton,
Nevada?

That would make me very very happy :) :) :)

Great stuff! We use it as well.
We always winter it with full tanks and leave the fuel line connected. (no fog)
Our 2001 Suzuki DF50 starts every spring like we used it yesterday.

I've been using Startron for almost 3 years. Was recommended
to me by the guys at the small engine shop I take my small
engine equipment to for service. I use it in everything.
Small equipment, trucks, cars, motorcycles...

Hey Highlander,

I can not seem to send you a PM through this site - they just sit in my "Out Box" for some reason? User error I'm sure :)
Maybe you could PM me and we can sort out how I can get you some shipping cash.

"And to the gentlemen saying they cant throttle in reverse, Ive applied extra power in reverse a time or 2, are you sure?"

Thanks for that! I looked into it, and it was an adjustment that is in the throttle box. The factory did not preset it.

Awesome, I'm glad you got that fixed. I really can't express how happy I am with that 70. The fuel burn is amazing and I love having enough to really move against any current/wind I'll likely encounter.

Wow Some Yamaha 70 feedback!
It has been a while since I was last here but since I see a topic of interest I'll stop & Post.
I too just recently bought the Yamaha 70, last April. My Honda 50 burst a big crack in the lower housing just behind the prop and I had to do a bit of soul searching before making a decision. The Honda was at least 12 years old and even though the top end ran fine (I tried it) it was going to cost me more than I figured the old girl was worth so I looked at the Yamaha 70. It was quite an expensive refit after paying for Honda removal and new installation plus new engine cost but I did retrieve $2000 for the old used Honda.
I quite like the Yamaha 70, lots of torque and it swings a big 14 X 11 prop and I get her up to 6200 rpm and sometimes hit 6300 rpm. Curious as to what prop others are using? I don't get the speed others report, I am lucky to hit 20mph, maybe I carry to much stuff. I wonder if I could swing a 14 X 12? I also use the ethanol free gas cause it is available close by, just have to lug it onto the boat, the tanks are heavy. Break-in was 20 hrs, then I changed out the fluids and ran her out WOT - with just me and empty ballast I barely held 20mph, but also could not bring that bow down. Next season I'll try trimming the engine up a bit. I only get about 10 mph @ 4000 rpm so again I must be heavier loaded. Nice to see a few others using the same engine, it provides much needed feedback considering the 70 is a new model. Plus it is still quite light @ 253lbs,(996cc) just a tad heavier than the Evinrude and the best power to weight ratio, a good match for the Mac I think. Keep posting folks!
