Blue_shiba,

For more of an in depth discussion about living on a boat, I may recommend you checking out this site: http://renegade-cruisers.org/bb/index.php

Folks on this site are great folks, just like here, and many are live aboard folks. I would guess that few if any members on this site "live" on a boat the size of a Mac. The Renegade site is all dedicated the cruising lifestyle and there are many members that do live onboard.

I also post to that site under "Enterprise Sea"

Good luck

Blue, given the weather in the pacific northwest,

Don't to forget to figure on running a de-humidifier pretty much continuously when in port......

Enjoy

Waves,

Yes that is what I've heard. I did live in Federal Way for a bit over 2 years. Lovely area.........Funny, the rain that Tacoma and Seattle got most often never fell through Federal Way.....
Not sure of the weather a bit north of Seattle however. Victoria seems like such an interesting location.
Ah well off to do other things.........peace--
Ms. Blue

Terry,

Straights of georgia do get really fun.........

however, crossing them in my mac is always more comfortable than doing it in the deep v's I have ridden through gales in.....for the same location.....and weather

soemthing about just rolling in the mac makes things much more comforatble than the pounding I have recieved in bad crossings and even worse following seas
